Blue Tower I – latent heat recovery from contaminated steam and vapour streams.
Blue Tower I is a field-proven system for recovering latent heat from dirty steam and vapour discharges originating from steam-intensive industrial processes such as vapour cookers, autoclaves, UHT systems, sterilisation units, and similar batch or continuous steam appliances.
It is specifically designed for operating regimes where conventional condensation equipment reaches its practical limits due to fouling, clogging and unstable operation. The system enables controlled and stable condensation under contaminated conditions, allowing recovery of latent heat at very high temperature levels, close to the condensation temperature of the steam source.
By delivering recovered heat at the highest possible temperature, Blue Tower I significantly increases the number of potential heat consumers within the factory, enabling direct process reuse, cascade integration, or hot-water generation. When operated in series with heat pumps or other thermal upgrading technologies, the elevated source temperature minimizes the required temperature lift and results in substantially improved COP and overall system efficiency.
Blue Tower 2
Blue Tower II – high-temperature latent heat recovery from contaminated moist air exhaust streams without pressure-drop impact.
Blue Tower II addresses industrial processes that generate large volumes of humid, particle-laden exhaust air, typical of drying and process-air systems such as belt, spray, tunnel, or fluidized-bed dryers, as well as ovens and similar air-based equipment. In these applications, conventional plate or tubular condensers are often excluded due to rapid fouling, hygiene constraints, clogging risk, and the unacceptable pressure losses they impose on ventilation systems.
Blue Tower II enables robust condensation-based heat recovery from moist air while maintaining a free airflow path, resulting in no additional static pressure requirement for existing fans.
Latent heat is recovered at temperature levels approaching the wet-bulb limit of the exhaust air, with heat delivery reaching approximately 3 K below the wet-bulb temperature. By maintaining this elevated delivery temperature, the recovered heat becomes suitable for multiple internal heat demands and, when combined with heat pumps or other thermal upgrading technologies, enables substantially higher COP and improved overall energy efficiency.

Blue Hero – harvesting energy from industrial wastewater
Blue Hero transforms industrial wastewater from an unavoidable by-product into a reliable source of process heat.
In many production environments, wastewater is discharged at temperatures well above the incoming process water, carrying a continuous flow of recoverable thermal energy. Blue Hero captures this energy directly from the wastewater stream and upgrades it through a tightly integrated heat-exchange and heat-pump concept, allowing cold process or make-up water to be preheated inline before use.
Rather than focusing on peak temperatures, Blue Hero is designed around volume, continuity, and efficiency. The wastewater treatment system itself acts as a thermal buffer, ensuring stable operation even when heat demand and wastewater flow are not perfectly synchronized. By upgrading low-temperature heat to a useful process level, the system delivers exceptionally high overall efficiency, with measured COP values above 10 in industrial installations, significantly outperforming conventional heating approaches. The result is a robust reduction in fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions, and operating cost, achieved without disrupting existing process or treatment infrastructure.
